“Kim Novak’s Vertigo” directed by Alexandre O. Philippe at the 37th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival was a wild ride.
Screening took place at the Annenberg Theater inside of the renowned Palm Springs Art Museum.
A fantastic post-screening Q&A hosted by Dave Karger of Turner Classic Movies pulled back the curtain on the creative process, illuminating how archival footage, contemporary visuals and Kim Novak’s own voice notes were interlaced to shape the final film.
I highly recommend watching this film when it becomes more widely available.
